SK Gaming has decided against renewing Wunder for the 2027 LEC season and has opened talks with other top laners, Sheep Esports reported on November 6. SK has not announced the decision or named a replacement. Wunder’s current contract expires on November 16.

The Danish top laner, a 2019 Worlds finalist with G2, joined SK for 2026 alongside former teammate Mikyx. SK finished 11th in LEC Versus and eighth in both the spring and summer splits, missing the playoffs in all three. The report did not identify Wunder’s next team or say whether he plans to keep playing.

Top lane remains open in SK’s reported lineup

SlowQ is expected to stay in mid, while 3XA, formerly Exakick, has reportedly agreed to return at AD carry. The two previously played together at Karmine Corp Blue. Sheep Esports has also reported that Zicssi and Lospa are set to join in jungle and support respectively.

That leaves top lane as the only position without a reported starter. SK has yet to announce its full 2027 roster.
