SK reportedly rebuilds around SlowQ as Exakick returns for 2027

SK Gaming is reportedly preparing a major rebuild for the 2027 LEC season, with SlowQ as its midlane cornerstone and 3XA, formerly known as Exakick, expected to return as AD carry. The plans emerged in two reports published on October 23. Neither the signing nor the complete lineup has been officially confirmed.

SlowQ remains the starting point

The reported strategy gives SK a foundation in the midlane. SlowQ is contracted through November 2027, and the organization is said to intend to retain him rather than sell his contract.

The other four players from SK’s 2026 lineup — Wunder, Skeanz, Jopa and Mikyx — have contracts expiring on November 16, 2026. The reports describe discussions with potential replacements, but that does not make every current player’s departure a completed transaction.

Exakick’s reported return brings a familiar connection

Thomas “3XA” Foucou previously represented SK under the name Exakick. He is now reported to have accepted an offer to return, making him the proposed partner for SlowQ in the new project.

The pair also played together for Karmine Corp Blue during its successful 2025 campaign. That experience would give the rebuilt lineup an existing connection between its two carry positions, although the remaining roles are still unresolved.

For 3XA, the move would provide another opportunity in the LEC after competing in the French regional scene. For SK, it would mean turning to a familiar player as the club seeks a stronger competitive direction.

Three roles remain open

The reported picture currently has SlowQ in mid and 3XA at AD carry, with top, jungle and support still to be determined. No complete five-player roster or transfer completion date has been announced.

The key distinction is between a reported plan and an official lineup. Until SK or the players confirm the moves, the rebuild remains an offseason development to follow alongside Razork’s reported move to Team Heretics.
