Sergen “BrokenBlade” Çelik has reached a verbal agreement to join Movistar KOI for the 2027 LEC season, Sheep Esports reported on November 8. Neither KOI nor G2 Esports has announced the move.

The report gives BrokenBlade a likely destination after he began exploring his options earlier this month. His G2 contract runs through November 16. Sheep Esports says Fnatic and NAVI also made offers. A move to KOI would close a five-season run with G2 that began in 2022 and included 12 LEC titles.

KOI finished second in the 2026 LEC Summer Split, losing the final 3–0 to G2. At Worlds, the team reached the last round of Swiss before Karmine Corp knocked them out. BrokenBlade would play alongside jungler Elyoya and mid laner Jojopyun, who extended his deal through 2027 in September.
