Karmine Corp has secured a Worlds 2026 quarterfinal place with a 2–0 victory over Movistar KOI on October 31 in Allen, Texas. KC finishes Swiss at 3–2, while MKOI is eliminated at 2–3.
The all-LEC decider sends Caliste, Yike and their teammates through as Europe’s sole remaining representative, following G2’s defeat to Hanwha Life Esports.
KC wins twice with elimination on the line
KC entered the final two rounds at 1–2 after losses to LYON and Bilibili Gaming. A 2–0 win over CTBC Flying Oyster kept its campaign alive, and another sweep against MKOI completes the recovery.
The team had already come through the Play-In Stage to reach Swiss. Now it joins Dplus KIA, Gen.G, T1, Invictus Gaming and Top Esports in the last eight.
MKOI falls from 2–0 to elimination
MKOI began Swiss by beating BLG and CFO, leaving it one series from qualification. Defeats to Dplus KIA, T1 and KC then ended its run. MKOI did not take a map in those three best-of-three series.
Two quarterfinal places remain. LOS faces LYON, while HLE meets BLG in the other final-round series. KC’s quarterfinal opponent will be determined in the draw after Swiss concludes.
