Karmine Corp kept its first Worlds campaign alive with a 2–0 win over CTBC Flying Oyster on October 29 in Allen, Texas. CFO is eliminated at 1–3, leaving the LCP without a team in the tournament.
KC moves to 2–2 in the Swiss Stage. One more best-of-three now separates the LEC side from its first Worlds quarterfinal appearance.
A response after two straight losses
KC had opened Swiss by beating Anyone’s Legend, then lost to LYON and Bilibili Gaming. Those defeats left Caliste, Yike and their teammates needing consecutive series wins to reach the Knockout Stage. The sweep completes the first half of that task.
CFO’s run ends after an opening win against Team Liquid followed by defeats to MKOI, T1 and KC. With Team Secret Whales already eliminated and MVK out in the Play-In, the region’s Worlds campaign is over.
One final Swiss series awaits
KC joins MKOI and LYON in the 2–2 pool. Its final opponent has yet to be drawn; the remaining Round 4 series must finish first.
