LOS kept Brazil’s Worlds 2026 run alive with a 2–0 win over Team Secret Whales on October 26 in Allen, Texas. TSW is the first team eliminated from this year’s Swiss Stage.
The result sends LOS into the 1–2 pool and ends TSW’s tournament at 0–3. Both teams entered the best-of-three without a series win, making this the first direct survival match of Swiss.
LOS recovers to close the sweep
TSW had opportunities to extend the series in game two. LOS built a lead, but a pick on Duduhh’s Ashe helped TSW secure Baron and narrow the gap.
LOS recovered around dragon and took control of the later teamfights. Another Baron helped the Brazilian side finish the game and deny TSW a decider.
Two more wins needed
For Ackerman and LOS, the sweep repairs a start that included defeats to T1 and G2. They still need two consecutive best-of-three victories to reach the quarterfinals; another series loss will eliminate them.
TSW leaves without a map win after losing its opening games to LYON and Invictus Gaming. Gen.G and Dplus KIA have already qualified at the other end of the standings.
