Hanwha Life Esports has eliminated G2 from Worlds 2026 with a 2–0 sweep. The subsequent final Swiss draw paired HLE with Bilibili Gaming, Karmine Corp with Movistar KOI, and LOS with LYON.

The series began on October 30 in Allen, Texas, and finished on October 31 in Europe. G2 exits at 1–3, while HLE moves to 2–2 and remains one best-of-three victory from the quarterfinals.

G2’s run ends in Swiss

G2’s only win came against LOS. Defeats to Dplus KIA and Top Esports had left the LEC champion facing elimination before the meeting with HLE. The sweep sends Caps and his teammates home before the Knockout Stage.

For Zeka and HLE, the result ends a two-match losing run against Gen.G and Invictus Gaming after an opening victory over TES.

Final Swiss round: three places, six teams

All three series are scheduled for October 31 in Allen. Each winner advances at 3–2; each loser is eliminated at 2–3.

The LEC derby guarantees Europe one quarterfinalist, with KC recovering from 1–2 while MKOI has fallen from 2–0. LOS and LYON will contest another place after the Brazilian side knocked out Liquid.

HLE–BLG will send one more major contender home. Dplus KIA, Gen.G, T1, Invictus Gaming and Top Esports have already qualified.
