LOS has knocked Team Liquid out of Worlds 2026 with a 2–1 victory on October 30 in Allen, Texas. Brazil’s last remaining representative advances to the final Swiss round at 2–2, one best-of-three win from the quarterfinals.
The LCS champion finishes at 1–3. Liquid had kept its tournament alive by sweeping LPL champion Anyone’s Legend, but could not repeat that result against LOS.
LOS wins the decider
LOS took the opening game before Liquid levelled the series. The Brazilian side then won game three to complete its second consecutive elimination-series victory, following its 2–0 win over Team Secret Whales.
For Duduhh, Ackerman and their teammates, the result turns an 0–2 start into a chance to reach the Knockout Stage. LOS had opened Swiss with defeats to T1 and G2.
One more series for a quarterfinal place
LOS joins MKOI, LYON, Bilibili Gaming and Karmine Corp in the 2–2 pool. Its next opponent has yet to be drawn. The winner of HLE–G2 will complete the six-team field for Round 5.
Five teams have already qualified: Dplus KIA and Gen.G at 3–0, followed by T1, Invictus Gaming and Top Esports at 3–1. Three quarterfinal places remain.
