Team Liquid has knocked Anyone’s Legend out of Worlds 2026 with a 2–0 sweep. The meeting of the LCS and LPL champions ended with China’s first seed leaving Swiss at 0–3, without a single map win.
The series was played on October 26 in Allen, Texas. Liquid moves into the 1–2 pool, keeping its quarterfinal hopes alive.
Liquid wins the fights that matter
Josedeodo’s Lee Sin helped Liquid take control of the opener. The team’s decisive engages and teamfighting turned the first game into a comfortable win.
Game two was much harder to close. AL fought back from a gold deficit, with Hope’s Jinx keeping the Chinese side in contention. A late dragon fight finally broke the deadlock: Liquid secured Infernal Soul, and Yeon collected a triple kill to help seal the series.
AL’s tournament ends; Liquid still needs two wins
AL’s losses to Karmine Corp and Top Esports had left it with no margin for error. Liquid entered the match in the same position after defeats to CTBC Flying Oyster and Bilibili Gaming.
Quid, CoreJJ and their teammates now need two more consecutive best-of-three wins to reach the last eight. AL joins Team Secret Whales among the teams eliminated from Swiss.
