T1 is through to the Worlds 2026 quarterfinals after beating Movistar KOI 2–0 on October 28 in Allen, Texas. The win closes T1’s Swiss run at 3–1, while MKOI falls to 2–2.
T1 joins Gen.G and Dplus KIA in the Knockout Stage, becoming the third team to qualify.
Keria helps T1 take control
In the second game, Keria’s Karma helped open the map with a surprise midlane visit against jojopyun’s Viktor. T1 then found kills in the side lanes, with Peyz’s Jhin and Keria punishing Myrwn’s Ornn before the support linked up with Doran’s Gwen to catch Elyoya.
Oner’s Jarvan IV stole a dragon as MKOI tried to force a way back into the game. T1 turned its growing advantage into a clean ace at the third dragon fight and eventually closed the series after another midlane ace.
MKOI has one chance left
MKOI started Swiss 2–0 but has now lost consecutive qualification series against Dplus KIA and T1. Its final best-of-three at 2–2 will decide whether it reaches the quarterfinals or leaves Worlds.
The opponent is still to be drawn. See the Round 4 matchups and schedule for the remaining qualification and elimination series.
