Bilibili Gaming has secured the final Worlds 2026 quarterfinal place with a 2–0 victory over Hanwha Life Esports in the last Swiss series on October 31 in Allen, Texas. BLG advances at 3–2; HLE is eliminated at 2–3.
The result completes the knockout lineup: Dplus KIA, Gen.G, T1, Invictus Gaming, Top Esports, Karmine Corp, LYON and BLG. Three LCK teams and three LPL teams remain, alongside one representative each from the LEC and LCS.
BLG survives its deciding series
Bin and his teammates reached the final round after losing their opener to Movistar KOI, beating Team Liquid and KC, then falling 2–1 to Top Esports. That left BLG one defeat from elimination, with HLE standing between it and the last eight.
A sweep settles that final test without a deciding third game. BLG now moves into the best-of-five knockout stage, with its opponent to be determined by the quarterfinal draw.
HLE’s run ends at 2–3
HLE opened Swiss by beating TES before losing to Gen.G and IG. A 2–0 win over G2 kept its campaign alive, but another victory was needed to qualify.
Instead, HLE joins MKOI and LOS among the final-round eliminations. The quarterfinals begin on November 3, with the remaining eight teams competing for a place in the November 14 final in Brooklyn.
