Zeus reportedly turned down a contract renewal offer from Hanwha Life Esports before Worlds 2026. A report published on November 2 says the top laner wants to test his value on the market, but his departure is not confirmed.
HLE says discussions are continuing
The report places the rejected offer before the tournament, rather than after HLE’s elimination against BLG. It says Zeus’s current deal remains valid until mid-November and that a renewal could still be reached before free agency opens.
An HLE representative told the reporter that the organization is continuing discussions with the player. That leaves his future open: declining one offer does not mean he has committed to leaving or agreed to join another team.
An unresolved question after Worlds
HLE finished Swiss at 2–3 after losing 0–2 to BLG on October 31 in Texas, following its earlier win over G2.
The renewal claim remains a journalist’s report. Neither a completed exit nor a new destination has been announced.
