Shopify Rebellion is reportedly moving on from head coach Seong “Reven” Sang-hyeon after three years leading its League of Legends project. The departure has not been officially announced.
A change at the top
The report describes a coaching search for 2027, including discussions with former G2 Esports head coach Dylan Falco. Shopify is still said to be considering its options. Those talks do not amount to an agreement or a confirmed appointment.
Reven has led the team since its arrival in the LCS in 2024. His reported exit would therefore mark a significant change for a project whose coaching and roster building have both been shaped by him.
The roster remains unresolved
Player changes are also expected, according to the report. Midlaner Zinie has attracted interest elsewhere, but staying at Shopify remains possible. No destination or departure is confirmed for him.
Shopify’s official team page still lists Reven as head coach alongside Fudge and the rest of its playing lineup. Until the organization or those involved announce changes, the coaching departure and possible roster moves remain unconfirmed reports.
