Invictus Gaming is through to the Worlds 2026 semifinals after beating Top Esports 3–1 in Allen, Texas. The all-LPL quarterfinal began on November 3 local time and ended with IG taking the final two maps after TES had levelled the series.
TES answers once; IG takes control
IG won the opener before 369’s Renekton helped TES survive a dangerous late-game fight and take Game 2. The response brought the score to 1–1, but TES could not build on it.
Wei helped swing the next two games. His Jayce created pressure in mid and bot in Game 3; on Naafiri in Game 4, he attacked top lane and contested early objectives. IG eventually secured Baron and won the fight around dragon soul to finish the series.
From Swiss qualification to the last four
IG had beaten LYON to reach its first Worlds quarterfinal since 2019. With TheShy and Rookie back in the lineup, that run now continues into a semifinal scheduled for November 7.
TES exits in the last eight after qualifying from Swiss with a win over BLG. The remaining quarterfinals are Gen.G–LYON on November 4, DK–BLG on November 5 and T1–KC on November 6, as set out in the knockout draw and schedule.
